This subject was broached on another thread and I was wondering 

who has put tabs on their boats?

Relatives that own center consoles all run them, but don't think I have seen them on a bass or multi-species boat.

    Put them on my boat after reading the other thread because my aluminum bass boat with a 40 hp. motor was seriously under-powered and difficult to get on plane.  Love them!  Motor may actually last longer.  Don't recall seeing them on any of the "rocket ships" that have maximum power.

    My dad had them on his Lake Michigan salmon boat. Does that count?

    I have seen them on muti-species boats on the great lakes.
