best tackle boxes for plastics?

Featured Replies

All my stuff is a mess and very unorganized. What tackle boxes is everybody using? Pictures would be great also

I buy the $10.00 soft side coolers at Walmart and remove the plastic liner. I have one for each style of plastic. I label the top with a sharpie.

I leave the plastics in their original bag, and put the bags in the coolers. they seem to last a lot longer this way.

I can also stuff a lot of these under my boat deck.

I just started using these:

Each of the 4x6 boxes can carry at least a couple packs of plastics (about 40 seniors and about 25 rage bugs) if you take them out of the original bags. When I fish as a coangler I just toss the ones I need in my coangler bag.

**Disclaimer** I am not sure if these are a “worm safe” plastic. I have had all of my plastics in them for a couple of weeks and there doesn’t seem to have been any reaction or warping. They have been in my garage and haven’t seen over 50 degrees, so they haven’t experienced heat yet.

Hey, I asked this question a little while ago and most people said to use the soft plastic binders or the large, deep organizers and keep them in the original bags.

Gallon ziplock bags with plastic inside bags baits came in. I really don'y have a lot, so I have the following galloon bags:

Worms

Creature baits

Swim baits

Tubes & misc

X2. I just have more bags. One i keep handy is a "go to" bag of my favorites and most confident plastics. I also keep a senko bag and flipping bag handy. Rest of them are in a duffle bag in back box divided by style in gallon ziplocs.

Currently I have my bagged plastics in a shoe box. I keep my go to plastics in a Plano 3620 box for easy access to various types of baits and colors. I also will only bring one box of plastics and one box of lures.

I store most of my lures in Plano plastic tackle boxes.

These are just great for plastics.  I picked one up at Michaels for about $26 on sale.

I got mine from Amazon. 2 for $32 shipped.

59 bags of plastics in here. Still room for a couple more.
