Looking at shakey heads

Featured Replies

I'm kicking around buying a mold to make me some shakey heads with stainless wire. I cant decide if I want a football head, round head, or go with the poisen again. This mold will have to be modified.

Here is a head style that I think I'm going to make. But I want some other opinions on it.

When you guys use a shakey head do you use one like above where the bait sticks straight up or do you like it angled back? Also what weight?

I fish that exact jig. It catches lots of fish.

The only draw back to me is you can't use a Strike King worm on that spring holder.

I use 1/8 and 3/16.

I love that style of shakey heads, that is the exact one I use also.  I mostly use a 1/8 oz.
