Update on my Mercury

Featured Replies

So I finally took my boat to the shop and apparently I burned out my water pump. The good news is I got my boat back just in time for a weekend of rain, but Wednesday and Thursday (my days off this week) are shaping up to be good for fishing ?

This was the water pump you replaced that wasn't peeing.  So how did you manage to burn out a new impeller? Let's me think....ran dry for several minutes. Hard lesson to learn, on the upside you know more about your OB and now can relax and go fishing.

Oh I learned a lesson alright but I’m sure I’ll learn more but I’ll be back on the water and fishing on Wednesday if it’s not raining still ?
