This is older and I dont know where I got it. Certainly different with the skirt in front. I dont see any real advantage.

 

 

Only advantage I see is it looks slightly different than anything else in the water. I kinda reminds me of the keitech jig. 

Bait will fall more even than nose down and the skirt will hide more of the lead/weedguard.
