Any pro’s or con’s on the BX Brat? The videos looked good but you guys that have fished them have the real reviews!

Not sure how they work but it looked good enough for me to buy one last Sunday.

They look nice.. but what's the advantage over a DT4 or 6?? 

I think a DT would get hung up more than a square bill around wood and rock!

I have a few and they're great. The 06 for its size gets deep quick and has great bouyancy to deflect off cover. I forget what it's called but the white craw one has been the best for me.

I too have been wondering about the BX Brat's. I noticed that Dick's is having a promotion where Ripstops, Shadow Raps, Shadow Rap Shads, & BX Brats are 3 for $20.

 

Been wondering if I should try.

I regularly buy from there and you can mix and match. 

 

I took advantage of this deal earlier this week but stuck with all Ripstops.

Yippee!  I don't have any Ripstops (yet) but if their action is like the Shadow Rap, I think you'll be pleased.  I have at least 15 of them.  It seems excessive but I use them ALL THE TIME in the spring and fall.

 

I'll probably get 1 rip stop and 2 BX brats.  The Field & Stream here doesn't carry many in the BX line so hopefully they stocked up for the sale.

I ordered some from tackle warehouse last fall and had a few really good days on them. The green and purple one, silver, and brown craw colored ones all produced
