What matters most is that you got a bunch of blowups. That means you are throwing something they like, now you need to find what retrive will make them smash the lure and get hooked. Maybe change hooks if they are not sharp enough. Keep being persistent and you will eventually catch the fish you are after.

My best time to fish was to be casting by 4am. That’s up at 3:30am. There isn’t many fish in numbers but they are bigger and no people chucking saltwater weights.

im a slump? Slow down your baits. Don’t rush and they will settle down. Now change bait colors and sizes. If your using a scent change it. If not try a scent. Wash your hands before going fishing. I use bigorange soap.

when was the last time you washed your baits and tacklebox?

Yes that's a good time. Best part is that there is usually nobody to bother you when you fish at night. No boaters, jetskiers, pleasure boaters, and random people that approach you. Just you fishing enjoying the outdoors.

C’mon man ???

Idk about up North but during the spring the creeks will fill up with little black catfish, you shine a light on em and catch them by hand.

We've caught em  for flathead bait

Obviously, the big bass are not chasing baits.  When that happens, put a U-vibe of Senko on and fish on the bottom slow with frequent stops as much as one minute.  They are curious creatures and will slowly move closer to investigate.  Once close they will attack once the bait moves a little.  When things are slow, slow down is key for me.  Once you catch one, go back again to the same spot.  They often hang out in groups of the same size.  One area may provide action from two or more.  During these slow times, bigger ones are often deeper, and slower to the bait.
