Good Morning All,

 

I am looking to get the new Shimano Exsence reel but need some input. Which model should I get, 3000 or the 4000? I fish mostly small lakes and ponds but of course bigger lakes too. I target pretty much Largemouth exclusively but some times crappie, walleye, smallmouth etc. Thank y'all very much for your future input!

    Agree.  The 3000 will fill the bill nicely.  The 4000 is overkill.

    I have found the 3000 to be near perfect on lakes, rivers too. with lighter gear.

    I couldn't help myself and ended up getting the 4000 lol

     

    Now I can't buy anything else because it's such a freaking smooth reel! Absolutely love it!!

     

    I have it on a Megabass Orochi XX Enforcer but looking to get the Megabass Destroyer TS 775. Having a hard time finding the Destroyer TS 775 though.
