Owner Twistlock Light Hook for Senko

Featured Replies

BR - anyone use the Twistlock Light for Senkos? They definitely prolong the life of the bait, but I haven't figured out what size to use. I normally use a 3/0 for senkos, but in this variety they seem too short. 4/0 or 5/0 better?

I use it for weightless Texas rig. 4/0 for 5" Senko's, 3/0 for 4"

I need to try these. I used to be a huge fan of the Mr Twister keeper hooks. These are really similar. Does the screw end pull free of the bait on the hookset?

IMO its the best hook for a senko.  I ise a 4/0 for the 5" senko

I would agree, but I think a ewg picks up less algae and muck.  I use senkos a lot in little ponds with slime bottom when my brain rebles against pulling slime off of my lure every cast. With the hook head buried a senko is maybe the most slime resistant lures out there.
