I have a non-chirp 73sv at my bow and a chirp 73sv at my console. I found a used Striker 73sv for a smokin’ deal. My question is, can I link three units to share waypoints? I want to run the Striker as strictly GPS but I want it to share waypoints with the other two units.

 

the previous two units are already linked and sharing waypoints.

Just had a thought: I suppose the thing to do would be to link the Striker (gps) with the bow unit. If I’m only running the Chirp at the console for sonar and I have a map in a separate unit, it doesn’t need to be connected.

I don't think the 'gen1' strikers can share waypoints. I believe if the units you named off were the new Plus units you'd be good to go with linking all together.

With echomap Plus units and ethernet-sharing, yes you can link 3+ units together.  But, with the older echomaps and Strikers and Garmin High Speed Protocol sharing (blue/brown wires on PWR cable), you can only link two units.

Striker has GPS and waypoints but NO maps or contours.
