How we each choose to commemorate important catches is certainly a personal choice. 

Mine is to get a customized canvas print made from my own photography.

All but one the fish pictures are 20 x 24.

 The hallway wall space where they're displayed has been dubbed "Bass Alley".

 My wife has done several of our dogs  over the years that are various sizes depending on where we hung them.

There's quite a variety of sizes available however.

btw - they make great gifts.

I have never been a fan of taxidermy as I have seen few that last the test of time.
