Last Friday, Nürburgring , 5:19.54 for 12.9 miles...

 

That's what happens when you chuck "the rules" out the window and just focus on how good you can get.  51+ seconds faster than the standing record, set in 1983...Yes, 51 seconds...not 5.1...which would be nuts...

 

Continuous improvement in action, right there...

    Wow. ?  Oh My....  I’m not a follower but can definitely respect that!!!   Travis Pastrana’s Record Mount Washington Hill climb (YouTube) in a rally car always blows my mind.  Having actually driven up the mountain(down is worse) as a passenger, white knuckling at 3mph... ?
