Bass pros huds

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried these? I knew Huddleston was going after them last I heard?

curious if they even close?

I don't believe they're available anymore. They were pulled when Huddleston filed their lawsuit. To answer your question, yes, the tails were identical.

"Looking45" is right, all BPS stores pulled the baits the morning after the lawsuit was filed. I was still working there then. Funny thing, normally when something is pulled, we could slip in, kind of under the radar, a buy whatever bait it was. As I had read about the lawsuit already, I thought that I would grab a few. The registers were already programmed not to sell them. That never happened before.

To answer your question, I've never seen a real Huddleston so I really don't know.

Savage Gear is going to be coming out with a similar bait soon I believe. Theirs is going to be a line thru I'm pretty sure.

Not sure about the BPS knockoffs, but Ken Huddleston's 8 inch hudds catch these.
