GLX 844 MBR & Dobyns DC 765 flip.

Featured Replies

Purchased a  GLX 844 MBR and Dobyns DC 765 flip for a swimjig rod and a soft swimbait/paddle tail rod. These were recommended by a fellow bass fisherman. I keep going back and forth witch is best for each application as I believe they can be used for both. Anyone willing to give there opinion? Thanks.

I'd use the MBR for the swimbait/paddle tail rod and the Dobyns for the swimjig rod.  This is my preference though, the main reason is that, at times I use a swim jig as a flip/pitching bait.

thanks, never thought about that one.

I have the 844c and use it for just about everything except crankbaits.  I really like it for frogs and topwater but use it for t-rigged plastic, jigs, and jerkbaits as well.
