I am wondering what the differences are between these two rods for those of you that have used them.  I am looking for more of an all purpose MH rod and from my experience with other g loomis series rods the 4 power is likely what I would want.  This would be used mostly as a moving bait rod primarily for 1/2 oz. spinnerbaits (in some cover) and also pull light duty with other techniques.

You definitely want the MBR.  The JWR is good for what it is, but it tends to be a one trick pony. That said, I am liking my MBR for jig and worm purposes too. Think about it......while it is apples and oranges, the conquest is an MBR. My favorite GLX is an MBR...

I own the E6X MBR903c which is a 7'6 version of the classic 843. Its worth a look as the extra length is pretty awesome. However, it is MH power not Heavy power (3 power not 4 power)

Tim, I would stay in the MH range, not heavy......for more versatility
