HELP - need new wallet!

Featured Replies

I want a minimalist wallet, but I can't find what I'm looking for.

I like the Trayvax Armored Summit - it's the closest I've found but still not what I want.

What I want is a dedicated slot on the outside for my ID so I can display it without removing it.

Then I want expandable space for 5 or so credit-card sized cards and a strong money clip on the back of that with RFID protection.

Do any of you know where I can find such a thing???

This is close, but no money clip.  :(

I have a wallet made of walleye leather. I've had it since this past Christmas and it's holding up very well.

Sweet !

These are pretty cool as well.

Each one is a little different as you'd expect and mine is 3 years old I think now and it's holding up well.

Personally, I don't like to keep cash in a wallet. I carry cash in a money clip in my front pocket, and wallet with ID's and a couple credit cards in my back pocket. When I was a kid, I was grilled by my grandpa that pick pockets can't get your cash if it's in your front pocket. My dad always carries money in his front pocket and when he worked in Chicago, prior to retiring, always wrapped 2 wide rubberbands around his wallet because the rubber adds friction which would help him notice if someone was trying to lift it.

These look pretty cool, I might have to check out these when my wallet falls apart, which is gonna be sooner rather than later.

I have a different version of Columbia's front pocket wallet. Doesn't have the ID pocket or the magnetic money clip. It has a regular one.

My dad does the same thing for the same reason. He used to work in some rough areas in New York.

I just run one I bought from Kmart for maybe $12, it might be a Dickies or Columbia. Has a place to display my ID. I had a pricey Levi wallet before that and it didn't last half as long.
