I recently bought a older 18" skeeter.  The trolling motor is just as old.  I think it is a 39 lb thrust and it seems to pull me around fine but what would you suggest I get for a new one?  I will be buying it this weekend.  Is bigger always better?

I would get a 24 volt 80lb. Theres not much difference in Minn Kota and the touring Moto Guide.
