If I'm using a softer rod or maybe even a 7 foot glass rod of I were to use mono would that be too much stretch or give if I'm throwing a moving treble hook bait?

Moving treble hook baits are perfect for mono.  Mono is a little more forgiving than braid or flouro. Fish have less tendency to spit the bait.

Biggest problem I see with treble hook baits is not the line. You have to keep the hooks sharp.

But is it problematic if BOTH my rod and line selection have stretch/forgiving properties to where it may be too much so that way?

No. I i use a medium action moderate rod, with mono, for treble hook baits.

Just keep the hooks super sharp. if you go to a stiffer rod, there is a chance of the fish pulling free, if they are marginally hooked.

with the rods you mentioned, it should work fine.

Only one way to find out. If you are using larger heavier gauge hooks, maybe. With lighter wire sharp hooks, you basically just need to reel down, even with some al dente tagliarini. (that's somewhere between spaghetti and capellini for Olive Garden fans)

Monofilament stretch ?

 

The test are done with one end of the mono attached to an immovable object & the other end attached to some mechanical gizmo.

 

 

I like monofilament for everything 80% of the time : )

I've stopped messing with braid and fluoro. My finesse spinning stuff has Yo Zuri Hybrid in 6lb and my casting stuff has Trilene. No leaders, problem free. Don't even notice braid casting that much further than copoly for it to matter.
