Storm Lures

Featured Replies

Anyone else look at these lures as marginal at best? I havent purchased any just because they look cheap. Some baits are made to catch fisherman, well these sure dont(they look like toys, alot of them dont appear realistic). Anyone ever had consistent success using this brand of tackle/lures?

I dont like the Storm soft and swimbaits. But the suspending WildEye Minnows look pretty realistic to me!

I have not tried these jerkbaits, besides a few casts to look how they run and they run very nice and suspend well.

I have tried a couple of packs of their swim baits and soft plastic but I have had little success.

I have caught a few nice ones on this particular swim bait from Storm.

Their soft plastics are terrible, but their crankbaits are good.  The 'wart' series is a great set of crankbaits, and unlike nearly every other lure company out there, they keep the same size from topwater all the way down to their deepest diver.

Storm makes great lures for the price in my opinion. Their Wiggle Warts are one of my most productive cranks, I've also used their soft plastic Wild eye shiner I think it's called (soft plastic swim bait) and it worked pretty well for me.

The Storm Wiggle Wart is one of the great crankbaits in life - - and the Storm Chug Bug is one of the greatest topwater lures in life, so they do have their gems.
