Anyone use them. I’ve been checking them out for a little while now and decided to order one on sale at tw. It’s backordered so I don’t know when I’ll get it, but didn’t want to pass up that price. Realistically as long as it’s here by April is fine. Almost all of the reviews and videos have been positive, so I’m pretty excited about it. I think the only real negative reviews I e read are people comparing it to much higher priced rods. Anyway looking forward to hearing any of your thoughts on it. 

I don't have the levante but I have a couple orochi's and I love them.   Only thing is they are not as heavy as their rating.   Med/hev is more like medium.  

Looking at the line and lure rating along with the 4.5 power rating. I was thinking like medium + lol. And I’m good with that. 

I have an original Orochi XX Flatside Special and like it quite a bit. No experience with the Levante though. As I recall the general consensus has been the Levante series wasn’t a smash hit like the Orochi XX. Unless the sale price is that attractive to you like @BaitFinesse I’d hold off for the new series to be released. 

I already ordered it. I need to start playing with stuff to find out if I like them or not. I’ll find out in the spring. 

I'm surprised TW let you backorder at the sale price. As far as I know that version of the Levante is discontinued, that's why it is on sale.

Idk, I seen it on the 25 days and ordered it. I didn’t notice it said out of stock. Got the email saying as soon as more of them come in it will be sent out. Beats me. 

I didn’t find much negative about them when I was looking into it before I ordered. 

I’d call TW and confirm you’ll still get it, I was under the impression the gen 1 Levante rods were limited to stock on hand. Otherwise, I haven’t fished your particular model but I bet you’ll like it. The Levante rods definitely don’t have the allure of higher end Megabass, but at the close out price you really can’t go wrong. Just be advised that the Levante rods can easily be a gateway in to the Megabass cult lol

My guess is you will be getting a call or an email from them saying that you will have to pick another model or get your money back.

Well, I guess if that happens it happens. I have a second choice ready

I’m not to tech savy, but I can’t find anything that says there discontinued or there is a new line with quick searches. They are still on other sites for full price or close to. I looked on the Megabass site and didn’t see anything about the Levante. 

They haven't even released pictures of them yet but I heard it straight from a Megabass rep on another site. If I were you I would call them today so the other rod you want doesn't sell out too.

i just read about the new line for 2019 on a tackle website. 

Yup, called them today. They were not getting anymore so I went with the fury 705 cb. Read all good things about this also, I’m just as excited to get this.
