MARDI GRAS!!!

Mardi Gras will be on March 5 this year so all of you guys start planning your trip to New Orleans and the French Quarter for that weekend and into Tuesday.

For all in college remember to tell your parents you went when you return to school because if you tell them you are planning to go before you leave you are not going.

And you can sneak in some outstanding salt and brackish water fishing, too.

Here are the parades that will be putting on another great show in the greater New Orleans area.

Don't tell us what you see in the French Quarter. After all, this is a family Forum. ;)

By the way, if you start planning now you may be able to get reservations at a hotel for next years Mardi Gras. Heard it can get really busy that time of year.

I don't do Mardi Gras & really don't care much for N'awlins.

If y'all really want to experience true Mardi Gras ya need to head on over to Lafayette!
