I am new to Carp fishing and currently have a bg 2500 on a 7 ft medium daiwa harrier, I use it for inshore and carp, I want a rod I can use for saltwater applications such as surf, pier, and small ponds for carp, I plan to pair with a daiwa saltwater regal bite and run reel, and suggestions on a rod? Thanks

I use a  cheapo Bass pro shops  flipping stick  and old fiberglass flipping rod . 7'6" use them for carp and catfish .
