What year did Mercury start the oil injection system. Does a 1994 mercury 150 have the oil injection system? How much do you guys trust the oil injection system?

    NOT wanting to get off topic or sound like an idiot, BUT where/how do you put the oil in an injected Mercury 2 stroke?? Do you just put it in the oil tray until the little indicator rises to the full up position (that is what I am assuming and I can not see the indicator on my Merc 75 right now). THANKS!!!

    I have a 1984 Merc. 150 and it has oil injection. It has an oil tank that holds about 1.5 gallons of oil. plus a res. that holds maybe 24oz I'm guessing.
