BPS will be putting them on sale for $600 on the 15th of February. I believe the model is the one with the CV transducer. My question is if this would be a solid value choice for the front of the boat. $600 is about the limit of my budget.  Alternative options would be appreciated.

    I used to have one and they are really good value even at the normal price.  I actually preferred it to the Lowrance units I have now.
