Best Beginner Bass Boat for Knoxville

Featured Replies

Moving to Knoxville from SW Ohio this summer. Unfortunately my friends who have bass boats aren’t coming along.  This will be my first boat. I appreciate any suggestions for type of used, inexpensive starter bass boat for Knoxville. I guess kayak is also an option.

Thanks!

Anything that floats - there are all types of waters to fish in and around Knoxville from streams and creeks to rivers and lakes.

I have a 16 foot aluminum boat with a 25 horse motor and can fish pretty much anywhere.

That being said, I stay off the main lake channels when its busy as I'll get tossed around like I'm riding a bull.
