Hummingbird 525

Featured Replies

Threw my old Eagle into the reservoir at the end of last season and need to replace it. Anybody got feedback on the 525?

I just pitched a piece of junk eagle that came with my boat and installed the 525. I havent had it on the water yet but I fired it up to make sure all was well and the display was nice. If it works as expected, money well spent.

I've got 2 of them and love em. Its the best unit short of getting something in the color screen class. Great buy. Any questions just post.

I've got one on my bow.  Great unit for the price.

Are you set on the 525?  565 has higher resolution, more power, dual beam sonar.

Well worth the extra $70.

Is there GPS capability on the 565?

No, the only two 500 series 'birds with GPS capability are the 580 (monochrome) and the 595c.

Finally tried it on the water, its a nice unit. Im thinking about buying the speed sensor
