I've been using it on all of my soft plastics and jigs this year, haven't noticed a difference.

If you are looking for a "lubricant" it works very well, has the consistancy of Vasoline and is easy to use. As far as an "attranctant" goes, I have experimented with many (most) and have been using MegaStike for a couple of years. I find NO difference in bite count with or without an attractant, any brand.

lubricates: yes

covers human odor with garlic: yes

attracts fish: heck if I know

Be careful with it i deep hook alot of fish when using it.  I think it makes them hold on alittle longer.  It makes the bait feel more natural.

Thanks, I will continue to research mega strike more but having peoples opinons who have used it helps ;)

I've never used it, but the fact that it's some sort of gel that comes in a tube, as opposed to a liquid, suggests that its main use is to get the fish to hold on longer, not attract them, since the gel is a slower dispersing product than liquid.

I have used it a couple of times but nothing yet.  I have used Nitro's Crawdad gel and CB's Hawg Suace and these two have been getting me into some fish. With that said, it just might boil down to a confidence thing. Whether or not the scents helped in actuality I am not certain, but it seems to be working and I don't want to fix something that isn't broken. ;D
