Front navigational lights

Featured Replies

I was testing my navigation lights out and the back light comes on but the front light does not. My question is this, could it just be the bulb  needing replaced or do I need to purchase a whole new navigation light for the front of the boat???

Do you have a tattler to see I'd you have power up front?  It coupe be a bulb.

What kidn of light is it ok how is it install?

It may just need to be cleaned.  Often the prongs that are in the boats recessed part get corroded and need to be cleaned.  If try cleaning the connections on the boat and the light.  I've had to do that more times than I can count.

Is it on a 2 way switch? One way is rear/anchor, the other is front and rear navigational

Thanks guys for the advice. I’ll try the switch first and then try cleaning next. It was nice getting back on the water even tho it was just a few hrs. Going back to Lake Hartwell on Thursday. Happy fishing
