So tempting... But my wife would kill me. 

 

I've got my eye on the new Scorpion MGL 151.

    It looks sweet as well.  I actually just ordered my first Chronarch MGL largely per your recommendation from other posts, so I want to see how I like that first.  The Antares was definitely due for an update.

    That is why I haven`t gotten one yet.  My wife would kill me in general to pay that much for a reel.  My Conquest reel was a one shot deal.  Maybe in 4-5 years I can land an Antares.

    Doesn't tempt me at all. But I can’t wait for my wife to pick up a new Scorpion MGL for me overseas next month.

    Thinking a lot of people are going to be surprised about the size of it. I took some pictures along side a 18 Bantam MGL which I will be putting up real soon. Very sweet little reel......

    Smaller than bantam? But still 7.8oz reel.
