Fishing bull shoals

Featured Replies

I have been fishing bull shoals for bass a couple years now and was wondering what is your guy's favorite tackle to use. I know jigs are a must but what do everyone like. I personal like to throw the ned rig around some.

I don't get to fish Bull real often, but when I do, I can always catch some fish swimming a Keitech. I've also done well on an A-rig and jerkbait early in the year as well as a wart.

That is usually my go to baits this time of year as well.

I like fishing the Keitech and jerkbaits because I usually get some bonus walleye too.

Bull Shoals is going to be tough for a while as high as the water is. I was up around Buck Creek a couple weeks ago and I would think the stickbait and RK crawler deal will be around a while.

As Blue mentioned, scrubbing a Keitech is never a bad idea.
