The famed Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is on fire - they may not be able to save it.

    I was there in 1966 and still remember how beautiful it was.  I hope they'll be able to at least save all the art work. 

     

    Regardless of what faith you are it's just a Terrible loss.

    As a history/geography teacher who has taught about this cathedral (kids love the story of Quasimodo), this is really crazy to me. It survived so many revolutions, battles, WWI, WWII, etc. and now it goes down to a construction accident. Sad.
