Norman Fat Boy

The Norman Fat Boy (Redear) is my favorite squarebill. After 8 years of pounding stump beds I

finally had to replace my original. I own several other colors, but the redear pattern is my most

productive. The hooks are sharp right out of the box and do not need to be replaced. The paint has

held up very well, but I don't really think that is a consideration. I like lures that are "experienced".

Durability in this case speaks for itself. The bill finally broke this spring and my baby retired to a

drift wood display in the Man Cave. I am spending a few days on Bull Shoals in Arkansas next week

and hope to scratch up my replacement.

I am with you and fish the Fat Boy in fire tiger on the murky Potomac.  A really great bait.

I'm up for another color, I'll give it a try.

Thanks!

Splatterback for me. I fish a lot in rocks, and the Fat Boy excels.    jj

I started out trying the Norman thin N’s. Awesome crank just get jiggly with it topwater at dusk as it floats, shake it. We were fishing a new unfished place. Using the thin n in hot chartreuse shaking it a lmb hit it and got away. My fault. I notice the fish will slap it silly then make a u turn and inhale it. When they slap it freeze. The Norman fat boys are good too. I have every color.
