Hey everyone! I purchased some Storm Arashi deep diving crankbaits and I had heard that the bills will sometimes cut your line. I have had this happen a couple times now but it was a few feet about where my knot was. I am curious to see if anyone is having the same thing happen to them, and if so, what is the solution.

I haven't used this lures or heard of this issue, but I suppose it's possible with that super thin and long circuit board lip. 

 

If yours is breaking a few feet in front of the knot, I'd guess that it's from abrasion on some sort of structure. 

It's a common issue with them. Use high grit sand paper to take the sharp edge off

I  did not know that   . I have one and only used it a couple of cast . The edge of the lip cuts the line during  the retrieve  ?

Yeah I've heard that they did it also. I just sanded em down when I got em and never had a problem
