Most of the posts are fairly old that is why I am posting

 

I have a few drop shot questions:
1. When is the best time to use a drop shot rig?
2. What type of plastics are preferred ?
3. Can I use this rig from the bank? (lots of under water vegetation)
4. What is a good hook size?

Any tips or suggestions that will be helpful will be appreciated.
