Looking for good reel for new pole

Featured Replies

Looking for a good left handed reel under 150$ for my 7,3 medium heavy fast action casting rod

Diawa Tatula CT or the New Diawa Tatula 100.

Can't get much better in your price range.

You can get the Tatula sv for around $170.00 on Amazon and e-bay.

this is a step up from the other Two.

You can regularly find the Curado K for right at or just under $150 on ebay. If you want to stay a fair bit under that you can find a Daiwa Fuego or a Shimano SLX for around $80 on amazon and ebay.

I have both the Diawa Fuego, and the Tatul CT lefty's. Both are smooth as butter compared to my Shimano Citica while the bail is engaged, all cast very well.

You have a bail on your baitcast reels?

"Poles" don't need reels.

Rods do.

:-)

Good suggestions above.  I've never been disappointed with any Daiwa reel I've bought.  Even under other names, like the old Cabelas Prodigy and ?? one other.  My Shimano reels also have always been very good.
