Camo Hydro Dipping Reel

Featured Replies

I picked up some camo rods, both casting and spinning, that were on closeout. Was also able to get a couple of camo baitcasters but no spinning reels.

The belt has to match the shoes, and the curtains have to match the carpet lol.
It just makes sense that the reel matches the rod. Anyone know where I can get a spinning reel hydro camo dipped for cheap?

That's a tuff call.

Ebay has Ardent Edgewater spinning reel in camo. See one for $21.88 and another for $29.95, new. Finish will be MUCH better than any hydro dipped job.

Let me know too, I saw some of that hydro dip and very interested. I wonder about durability but if they can hydro dip motorcycles helmet, it should be good on the reel. The problem I foresee is, this might add thickness to the reel and some of the parts might not fit properly.

Lews American Hero Camo Speed Spin. Buying the reel supports a great cause as well.

Not really familiar with Ardent. Good quality reels?

Hydro dipping doesn’t look cheap. You’re better off buying a camp real or just dealing with things not matching. A cover to a Lowrance unit hydro dipped was over $45! So a reel might be a little cheaper but probably not by much.
