Heading to Berryessa today

Any top spots I should be aware of in berryessa? My 1st time fishing there.

Heading out again today. Its only 45 mins away from me. Im gonna make it happen today!

Berryessa has several tournaments scheduled in Sept you might have some company pre fishing.

Berryessa is a big lake and wide, windy at the north end, narrow with steep rocky points at the south end. Bigger largemouths are at the north end, spotted bass are more common at the south end. 

I would start at the narrows with finesse jigs and drop shot for Spots to get a feel for the lake and venture up north for late afternoon weed beds and dock fishing.if you have a map and know how to find off shore structure the north end has lots to offer but agian wind and boat traffic can be an issue.

Tom, I think he's fishing from the shore..although I could be wrong. Still good info for him.

This is correct. It was a nice day out there. Only me and the wife.  No oje else was where we were at all. It was basically a ghost town.
