Well, long time editor and writer Dave Precht announced his retirement in the month's issue of Bassmaster Magazine.  I have missed about a half dozen issues of Bassmaster since it's inception. Precht is an icon to the development of bass fishing and bass fishing as a competitive sport. BASS and Bassmaster magazine have always had a mission to advance the sport and have done a helluva job fulfilling that mission. I've never publicly  praised Bassmaster Magazine or it's writers and editors until now and it's well earned.
