I was going through some old stuff and found a old Abu 5000D with bait clicker, and a old Abu 5000 both in great shape. What is the best use of these reels? If I don’t have a use for these I may sale one and when we move build a case to start collecting vintage Abu reels.

I have a 4600C3 that is around 25 years old or so.  I fill the spool with 50# braid and use it as my punch rig. 

Catfish rig?

I still use a 4600C3 also. Mine is 24 yrs old I think. Still working good

You can use them for just about anything the way they did when the reel was first introduced.
