How good does this look?

Featured Replies

I was a little reluctant to post this but I’m too dang proud of how well it looks. I think this is a bait practically no one has ever heard of. Venom claims it’s 2” but really 3” including the claws. I think it’ll be perfect for finesse fishing...Ned and Shakey specifically. And best part?  50 pk for $5, not including shipping of course. They are under the close out deals on venoms website. Get a a few packs and shipping will be worth it. Not a lot of natural colors but this is moccasin and the other natural color is green gourd

Please report back on how they fish.

I got super excited when I found Venom a few years ago.  They had more realistic gobies, mad toms and helgramites (not to mention great looking tubes ) than I'd ever seen anywhere.

For no reason that I could fathom, I never did very well with them.  I'll admit that I may not have given them a fair shake, but I just couldn't keep throwing them when other stuff always seemed to work better.

Looks like a fish catcher to me

Looks like a good fish catcher at a fantastic price. Hope they work for you.

Excellent and it sure would work on the Potomac right now.  The gulls are picking off the craws on top of the grass like crazy.
