Weight on these two. Any guesses?

Never fished bass until a few months ago as something to do with my 9 yr old son.  I don't have a scale yet, but curious what you think the weight on these two are.  The second pic was in the dark so the fish was actually quite a bit larger than it looks.  My son is about 4ft 6 for comparison.

First pic 3-3.5lb

second pic around 4 no more no less.

They both are pretty skinny.

Now time to buy a scale and Fish gripper(plastic kind) so you son can use it without tower.

6” Rapala fish gripper,

walmart has it for 7 bucks.

Yes they make some, but some of them are costly, I did see one for $15 though.
