Considering a new Depth Finder

Featured Replies

Currently have a Hook 5”. It’s entry level. I’m going to get more into deep water bass so I definitely need to upgrade. I’m not familiar with what’s available for $1,000.00-$1,200.00

Any recommendations?

People are always upgrading to the latest and greatest.  There are lots of really good used units out there that can be had for that kind of money.  Check the flea market here and for sale forums on other sites.

At this point in the year, wait for Black Friday deals. 2 years ago I picked up 2 garmin 9’s for the price of 1

Unless you want to network your bow and console unit the Hook units are just fine for fishing deep water. I would get a larger unit but other than that just make sure you get one that has side imaging.
