I have heard good things about both. I would likely pair it with a MH Fury or MH Curado. Anyone have experience with either?

Do you want the digital control or not?

You can't go wrong with the K, it's well proven and is a true workhorse.

 

I own several Curado K's and they are awesome reels. I also own few regular SLX's and much prefer the smaller size over the K.

 

I don't own any DC reels but plan on picking up an SLX DC soon as the LH retrieves have started to hit stores.

Unless you really want the DC module, I would go K. But if you want to try a DC, the SLX DC is really nice.

I have a Curado DC. I really like it but it may be a matter of taste. I'm sure you'd find good things about both.

 

I will tell you that I have a Dobyns fury spinning rod... nice, but then I got the Dobyns champion mh glass rod that I put the DC reel on, and I just don't want to use anything else any more for bait casting (or at least anything I've got). I don't have tons of experience with this stuff, but right now I don't have my eye on anything else and don't feel the need to move on. Happy where I am with this combo. The rod is magnificent with a fish on it.

Prefer the SLX. 
I bought 2 Chronarch MGLs. It’s tough to use the K after casting MGL reels. 
I sold one K, The other will be sold as well. Now I want 2 Metanium MGLs and another Bandit.
