I am looking to buy a new jon boat for bass fishing.  Im looking for a boat that will be stable enough to fish in larger lakes.  I dont need anything huge, just something that will get me to where the fish are.  Any suggestions on quality jon boats that I should be looking at?  Would I be better off trying to find a used boat?  Ive got $4,000 to spend.
