I’m interested in getting the Lews TP-1 Speed Stick IM8 Spinning Rod for Ned rig. It’s the 6’11 Drop shot Rod I’m looking at. It is a medium action rod rated for 1/8-3/8oz lures. Anyone that has this rod would I be able to use it for Ned rigs, is the tip soft enough?

I have the 6'9 Medium Light that's dedicated for dropshots, never threw a Ned on it before, but it flings a neko rig. The tip on it is definitely on the soft side, but I don't want to speculate about the 6'11 Medium.  

I sometimes use my 7'M TP1 Speed Stick for Ned Rigs. It's labeled "All Purpose" and the tip is plenty soft for that application.

They have a 6’7” version that is labeled for “Ned Rigs” as its intended purpose.  I have one and use it for Ned and Niko rigs. No complaints.
