Hello all ?   So,  for well over a year now, every package of Owner Hyper Wire split rings, (black), that I buy, the rings are already spread open. Either slightly or to a throw straight in the trash degree. Might be three or so tight and crisp ones in the whole pack at best. I generally use sizes 2, 3, and 4 like most bass anglers. Don't recall this issue back when the packaging was green. And I've purchased from online and many other shops. Same product. It's a real shame and I'm super curious how other anglers are faring with them, cause there's no way that this is going unnoticed.  Can't thank you enough for any and all input!  ✌️

Haven't had the same issue, but if I was, I'd contact Owner or return where I bought them.

Did you buy them all from the same store ?  Maybe someone is buying split rings, changing the one on his lures, putting the old ones back in the pack and bringing it back to the store for his money back.

Y'all are getting these as well, guaranteed!!! Check your gear more closely. Specifically size 3. I'm not looking for any resolve on here obviously and I've reached out to the company with zero response. Thought there might be shared frustration and disappointment with this clearly flawed and poor quality product over the last four years or so. Probably not long after the packaging changed from green/white, to blue/ white.  Oh welly, thanx just the same.  ✌
