Looking for help and fishing spots

Featured Replies

Hi. I am on vacation in Springfield Missouri staying at the plaza hotel. I am hoping that someone maybe close by that would be interested in taking me fishing while I am here. Bank or boat and I really don’t mind what fish we catch. I will share all costs and could hire a car if need be but I am a little nervous driving on the wrong side lol. If anyone wants to help it would be very much appreciated. I have been fishing for many years so won’t need much help just an idea of tackle some of which I have with me and some of which I can buy at bass pro. Please help if u can. Thanks for your time and thanks for reading. I am not looking to harvest fish but have no problem with others doing so I have no where to cook them lol

Fell free to drive on the wrong side of the road Simon, many of us do!

Cant help, I'm in AZ. Welcome nonetheless.

Maybe a member will step up and take a fellow angler fishing. Your other option is hiring a guide for 1 day, this saves you time and money purchasing tackle you may not need in the UK.

PS, I am about 2,000 miles from your location.

I've never done it but the bank's  of Taneycomo below the Table Rock dam is a popular place for trout fishing  . If you get no takers I'm sure someone at Bass Pro can steer you in the right direction .

Thanks for your reply scaleface. Bass pro are very helpful but if I can find someone who lives here to share costs and drive it’s going to be easier for me. I will drive if needs must as I can not visit America and not cast a line. As I say I will pay cost of fuel and anything else that is needed
