Back from Texas

Had a good trip to Texas, and got back home safe. The trip was a lot of driving. I got to see the ocean for the first time in my life. We went to Austin, and hung around for a few hours down there. The low point of the trip was coming into Dallas at rush hour! You've got to be on your best driving for sure. Houston is the biggest city I've ever been to. It goes on forever! I hope to go back someday, except next time I'm heading to Toledo Bend for some fishing. All in all a good trip. It took me a day or two to recover from all the driving, but all is good now

Man, you're a better driver than I am, that's for sure!      ?    jj

Glad you had a good trip and made it back okay. You are two steps ahead of me. I have never been to Texas and I have never seen the ocean. My wife has wanted me to go to the ocean and try deep sea fishing. Just never got there and I live a lot closer to the ocean than you do.

Glad you made it to TX. I live in Dallas and rush hour is no joke. You really have to be on your A game from about 5:30 am to about 7:30 pm on the highways as it's always pretty busy. Definitely overwhelming if you aren't used to it.

You get a can get a pretty good idea of just how big TX is when you drive across a large portion of it like you did.
