Your thoughts on a blade modification. I like to fish with these Mustad Fastach clips but as you can see from the pic the chatter bait already has one of those on there.

 

And attaching both just kills the blade action.

 

Any thoughts on how I can modify the blade to where I can attach the Fastach without cutting line and tying on line?

Is it possible to remove the clip that's on it so you can just put yours on there?

Just tie direct and retie when necessary. Who wants to lose a fish of a lifetime from being to complacent/lazy to retie a simple knot? Ya, I've been there!! Brian.
