Anyone have a lews tournament pro lfs

Featured Replies

Anyone of you guys have this noise? I did an exchange, but it has the same noise. No noise when I reel it at normal speed though.

Mine's spooled up and mounted, so I'm not doing this test, but I'll guess it's the brake blocks swinging and tapping the friction plate. Adjust the side plate dial and see if the sound changes. Put a drop of oil on the spool and sideplate bearings. Doubtful it's a dry spool bearing, but anything's possible.

If it fishes normal I'd wouldn't worry about it. Who even thinks about trying things like this LOL ???
